    From Takamatsu Station (Iwate Galaxy Railway), Takamatsu Pond is approximately a 20-minute walk (1.5 km). Follow the main road and signs for Takamatsu Pond.

  • Car

    From Morioka Station, head south on Route 4 and follow the signs for approximately 15 km. Take the exit for Takamatsu and follow the signs to Takamatsu Pond. Parking is available near the pond, and a small fee may apply. During the Sakura Festival, traffic restrictions may be in place.
