If you are near Shinjuku Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (the green line) towards Osaki. Get off at Meguro Station. Exit the station using the West Exit. From there, you can walk to Banryū-ji in about 15 minutes. Head south on Meguro Dori (the main road) and turn left onto the first street after about 10 minutes. Continue straight, and you will find Banryū-ji at 3 Chome-4-4 Shimomeguro.
