Getting There

  • Train

    From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (green line) towards Shinagawa. Ride for 9 minutes (5 stops) until you reach Shinagawa Station. Once at Shinagawa Station, exit the train and follow the signs to the East Exit.

  • Walking

    After exiting at the East Exit of Shinagawa Station, turn left and head towards the main road (Takanawa Dori). Walk straight for about 10 minutes. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kitashinagawa 2 Chome. Hōzen-ji will be located on your left at 2 Chome-2-14 Kitashinagawa.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from Shinagawa Station, you can take the Keikyu Bus (bus number 88) from the bus terminal located at the East Exit. Ride the bus for 5 minutes and get off at the 'Kitashinagawa 2 Chome' stop. From the bus stop, Hōzen-ji is just a short 3-minute walk ahead.
