Experience Ikegami Hommon-ji

Getting There

  • Train

    From Shinjuku Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (Green Line) towards Shinagawa. After 15 stops, get off at Ikebukuro Station. Transfer to the Tobu Tojo Line and take the train to Nishi-Waseda Station. At Nishi-Waseda, change to the Seibu Ikebukuro Line and head towards Ikebukuro Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and transfer to the Tokyu Ikegami Line. Ride the Tokyu Ikegami Line for 7 stops, getting off at Ikegami Station. From Ikegami Station, it’s a 10-minute walk to Ikegami Hommon-ji.

  • Train

    If you are starting from Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (Green Line) towards Shinagawa. After 5 stops, get off at Shinagawa Station. Transfer to the Keikyu Main Line and take the train towards Kanagawa. After 5 stops, get off at Keikyu Kamata Station. From Kamata Station, transfer to the Tokyu Ikegami Line and take the train towards Ikegami. Ride for 4 stops and get off at Ikegami Station. From Ikegami Station, walk for about 10 minutes to reach Ikegami Hommon-ji.

  • Subway

    From Asakusa Station, take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line (Orange Line) towards Shibuya. After 6 stops, transfer at Shibuya Station to the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line towards Chuo-Rinkan. Ride for 6 stops and get off at Kamiyacho Station. From there, switch to the Tokyu Ikegami Line heading towards Ikegami. After 5 stops, get off at Ikegami Station. Walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Ikegami Hommon-ji.
