After World War II, the district was rebuilt with plans to include a kabuki theater, though the theater was never constructed. Today, Kabukicho offers a wide array of attractions, including restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and love hotels. It's also home to unique spots like the Robot Restaurant, arcades, and the Godzilla head at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku. Popular spots include the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, offering various entertainment and dining options, and Golden Gai, known for its small, atmospheric bars. While Kabukicho is known for its nightlife, it also has cultural and historical points of interest. Hanazono Shrine, located within the district, provides a peaceful contrast to the surrounding neon-lit streets. The Samurai Museum offers a glimpse into Japan's warrior past.
