Subway
If you're starting from Shinjuku, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (red line) towards Ikebukuro. Get off at Otemachi Station (approximately 15 minutes). At Otemachi Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line (orange line) towards Asakusa. Ride for about 9 minutes and get off at Asakusa Station. From the station, exit through the exit 1 or A4, and follow the signs leading to Kaminarimon, which is about a 5-minute walk.

From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (green line) towards Shibuya and get off at Ueno Station (approximately 8 minutes). At Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line (orange line) towards Asakusa. Ride for about 4 minutes and get off at Asakusa Station. Exit through exit 1 or A4 and walk for about 5 minutes to reach Kaminarimon.

Bus
If you are near Tokyo Station, you can also take the Toei Bus from Marunouchi South Exit. Board the bus bound for Asakusa and get off at the Kaminarimon bus stop (about 30 minutes depending on traffic). From the bus stop, Kaminarimon will be directly in front of you; just cross the street to reach it.

Walking
If you're already in the Asakusa area, simply look for the signs pointing towards Kaminarimon. From the Asakusa Temple, it is a short 10-minute walk. Head south on Asakusa's main street, and Kaminarimon will be visible at the entrance to the Senso-ji Temple.
