Train
If you are starting from Shinjuku Station, take the Keio Inokashira Line towards Kichijoji. Get off at the next stop, which is Shibuya Station. From Shibuya, transfer to the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line and take a train towards Nagatsuta. Get off at Sakuragradōmae Station. Exit the station and walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach Kōgen-in Temple, located at 4 Chome-30-1 Kitakarasuyama, Setagaya City.
Bus
From Shinjuku Station, go to the West Exit and find the bus terminal. Take the Toei Bus 'Shibuya Ekimae' bound for Kitakarasuyama. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes and get off at the 'Kitakarasuyama' stop. From there, it’s just a 3-minute walk to Kōgen-in Temple. Head south on Kitakarasuyama Street until you reach the temple at 4 Chome-30-1.
Subway
If you are near Akihabara, take the Hibiya Line towards Naka-Meguro. Transfer at Hibiya Station to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and take the train towards Yoyogi Uehara. Get off at Yoyogi Uehara Station and transfer to the Odakyu Line. Take a train towards Kitami and get off at Kamiyama-cho Station. From there, exit the station and walk for about 15 minutes to reach Kōgen-in Temple.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of Kōgen-in Temple, simply navigate to 4 Chome-30-1 Kitakarasuyama. The temple is located in a quiet area, and you can enjoy walking through the local streets lined with traditional Japanese houses and gardens. As you approach, look for the temple's entrance, which is marked with a sign.
