Getting There

Train
If you are starting from Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (green line) towards Shibuya. After around 18 minutes, get off at Shibuya Station. From Shibuya Station, take the Hachiko Exit. Once you exit, walk straight towards the Shibuya Crossing, then turn left and head up the road towards Yoyogi Park. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach Meiji Jingu, located at 1-1 Yoyogikamizonocho.

Subway
From Shinjuku Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (red line) towards Ogikubo. Get off at the next station, which is the Meiji-jingumae Station. Exit the station via Exit 2, and walk straight. You will see the entrance to Meiji Jingu on your left after approximately 10 minutes.

Bus
If you are near Harajuku, you can take a bus from Harajuku Station to Meiji Jingu. Look for the bus stop labeled 'Harajuku Station' and catch the Toei Bus (Route 01) towards Yoyogi. Get off at the 'Meiji Jingu' bus stop, which is just a few minutes away from the entrance to the shrine.

If you are close to Yoyogi Park, simply walk towards the entrance of the park. Once inside, follow the signs leading to Meiji Jingu Shrine. It is about a 15-minute walk through the beautiful tree-lined pathways of the park.
