Private Tokyo Architecture Driver Guided Tour
Japanese Architecture, highlight of a trip in Tokyo
This has been the highlight of our trip, Fontes was an incredible guide. We were a group with multiple architects and not only did they have a great choice of buildings (including multiple expressions of Japanese Metabolism), museums, and public structures. Fontes was especially knowledgable, he prepared print outs for us to read throughout our tour, had water bottles ready, and was extremely patient. He is not only an amazing driver and guide but a very kind and intelligent person. He also speaks multiple languages which facilitated communication. Our tour included a wide variety including buildings by Kenzo Tange, Toko Ito, SANAA, Kengo Kuma, Taniguchi, Kikutake, and Tadao Ando. Recommended for everyone visiting Tokyo.

Yanaka Historical Walking Tour in Tokyo's Old Town
A breath of local fresh air!
The tour was amazing! Mark was an awesome guide. After visiting some of the busier touristy areas like Shinjuku and Shibuya, we wanted to visit an area that had a different yet easy pace. If you ever want to get immersed in the culture of old Japan in Yanaka we would highly recommend this tour!!
