Sukiyabashi Park, located in the heart of Ginza, is a small urban oasis offering respite from the surrounding bustling metropolis. Historically, the park marks the former location of the Sukiyabashi Bridge, which was built in 1629 as part of the outer wall of Edo Castle. The bridge gained fame from a radio drama in 1952. The bridge was removed in 1958 when the outer moat was reclaimed.
