The Sumida Aquarium is located in Tokyo Skytree Town and is easily accessible by public transport. Take the Tobu Skytree Line or the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line to Oshiage Station (also known as Skytree Station). From Oshiage Station, follow the signs to Tokyo Skytree Town; the aquarium is located on the 5th and 6th floors of the Tokyo Solamachi shopping complex. Subway fare from Nihombashi Station to Oshiage Station is ¥190-¥220.

If you are in the Asakusa area, the Sumida Aquarium is a pleasant 20-minute walk across the Sumida River. From Sensoji Temple, walk towards the Sumida River and cross the Azumabashi Bridge. Continue following the signs to Tokyo Skytree Town. Once you arrive at Tokyo Skytree Town, the aquarium is located on the 5th and 6th floors of the Tokyo Solamachi shopping complex.
