Getting There

  • Train

    From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (the green line) towards Ueno Station. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, exit through the 'Park Exit' (公園口) which will lead you toward Ueno Park.

  • Walking

    After exiting Ueno Station at the Park Exit, walk straight ahead into Ueno Park. The Ueno Royal Museum is located within the park. Follow the main path; you will see the museum on your left after a short walk of about 10 minutes (approximately 800 meters). Look for the address: 1-2 Uenokoen, Taito City, Tokyo 110-0007.
