From any location in Tokyo, make your way to a JR Yamanote Line station. If you're not sure, popular stations like Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station are good starting points. Board a train on the Yamanote Line heading towards Ueno. After a few stops, get off at Ueno Station. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, follow the signs to the 'Park Exit' (公園口), which will lead you to Ueno Park.

After exiting Ueno Station through the Park Exit, you will find yourself in Ueno Park. Walk straight ahead into the park, and you will see various paths. Head towards the left side of the park where you will find the Kiyomizu Kannon Temple and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. Continue walking straight, and you will eventually reach the area where Ueno Daibutsu is located, adjacent to the Kaneiji Temple.
