Getting There

Subway
From Shinjuku Station, take the Toei Oedo Line (大江戸線) towards Roppongi (六本木). Ride for 7 stops and get off at Azabu-juban Station (麻布十番). Take the Exit 4 out of the station. Once you are outside the station, walk straight along the main road, turning left at the first intersection. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Motoazabu 1 Chome. Azabusan Zenpukuji will be on your left.

From Tokyo Station, take the Toei Bus (都営バス) bound for Azabu-juban (麻布十番) or Motoazabu (元麻布). The bus ride is approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Motoazabu 1 Chome' (元麻布1丁目) and walk about 5 minutes. Head northeast on Motoazabu 1 Chome and you will see Azabusan Zenpukuji on your right.

If you are near Roppongi Hills, you can walk to Azabusan Zenpukuji. From Roppongi Hills, exit towards Roppongi Station and walk straight down towards the Motoazabu area. At the intersection, turn right onto the main road and keep walking straight for about 15 minutes. You’ll pass several shops and restaurants. The temple will be on your left at 1 Chome-6-21 Motoazabu.
