Getting There

    From Tokyo Station, take the Tohoku Shinkansen heading towards Ueno. Get off at Ueno Station (about 8 minutes). From Ueno Station, transfer to the Keisei Main Line and take the train towards Moriya, Ibaraki. Get off at Moriya Station (approximately 40 minutes). Once you arrive at Moriya Station, exit the station and head north on Route 294. The Meiji Shrine is about a 10-minute walk from the station.

  • Subway

    From Shinjuku Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line towards Ikebukuro. Change at Ikebukuro Station to the Tobu Tojo Line, heading towards Kawagoe. Get off at Tobu Moriya Station (approximately 50 minutes total). After exiting the station, walk along the main road for about 15 minutes to reach Meiji Shrine.

  • Bus

    From Shibuya Station, take the Keio Bus No. 10 towards Moriya. The bus ride will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get off at the Moriya Shinmachi stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Meiji Shrine. Follow the signs for the shrine, which will lead you directly to the entrance.
