    If you're starting from Shinjuku Station, take the Keio Line towards Chofu. Get off at Sakurajosui Station, which is about a 15-minute ride. After exiting the ticket gates, turn left and follow the street until you reach the first major intersection. At the intersection, turn right onto Yamato Street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will see a sign for Tamon-in on your left, just after you cross a small bridge.

    From Shibuya Station, take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line towards Asakusa. Change at Omotesando Station to the Chiyoda Line towards Yoyogi-Uehara and get off at Yoyogi-Uehara Station. At Yoyogi-Uehara Station, take the South Exit and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Kitakarasuyama Street. Turn left and continue for about 10 minutes until you reach Tamon-in, which will be on your right.

  • Bus

    From Shinjuku Station, take the Keio Bus bound for Kitakarasuyama. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Kitakarasuyama stop. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see Tamon-in ahead on your left side, just after you pass a small park.

  • Walking

    If you are in the Setagaya area, you can walk to Tamon-in from nearby locations. For example, from Kamiyama Park, head south on Kamiyama Street for about 15 minutes. You will pass several local shops; keep walking until you reach the intersection with Kitakarasuyama Street. Turn right, and after about 5 minutes, Tamon-in will be on your right.
