If you are already in Ueno, the quickest way to reach Ueno Park is to walk. Begin at Ueno Station, which is a central hub in the area. Exit the station and head towards the central square. From the square, follow the main pedestrian path called Ueno Park Avenue (Ueno Koen Dori) that leads directly into the park. You will see signs directing you to Ueno Park, and it’s approximately a 10-15 minute walk.

Subway

If you are at a different location in Ueno and need to take the subway, you can use the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line or the Hibiya Line. If you are near Ueno Station, board the trains and get off at Ueno Station. Once you exit the station, head towards the main square and follow the pedestrian path to Ueno Park. There is no extra fare as this trip is within the same area.

Bus
