Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Tottori Station, take a bus bound for the Tottori Sand Dunes (鳥取砂丘). The one-way ride takes about 20 minutes and costs 380 yen. Get off at the last stop, near the Tottori Sand Dunes Park Service Center. From there, walk towards the camel riding area, following signs for らくだ乗り場 (Camel Riding Area), approximately a 15-20 minute walk.

  • Taxi

    Take a taxi from Tottori Station to the Tottori Sand Dunes. The ride takes about 20 minutes and costs around 2300-3000 yen. Ask the driver to take you to the らくだ乗り場 (Camel Riding Area).

  • Car

    If driving, take the Tottori Expressway to the Tottori Interchange (鳥取IC), about 20 minutes from the dunes. From there, follow signs to the Tottori Sand Dunes and the らくだ乗り場 (Camel Riding Area). Parking is available near the camel riding area for 500 yen per 24 hours for cars.
