Car
If you are traveling by car, start from central Wakasa and head southeast on Route 27. Continue on Route 27 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the Miko area. Turn left onto Prefectural Road 27 (福井県道27号) and keep going for about 2 kilometers. Matsuoka will be on your right at 6-20 Miko, Wakasa, Mikatakaminaka District, Fukui 919-1452. Make sure to check for parking availability near the inn.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take the Fukui Railway from Wakasa Station. Board a train heading towards Fukui City and get off at Miko Station. From Miko Station, you can either walk or take a local taxi. To walk, exit the station and head southeast on Route 27, which is about a 1.5-kilometer walk. If you choose to take a taxi instead, it should take about 5 minutes and cost around 800-1000 yen.
