Car
If you are driving from central Wakasa, take Route 24 heading south. Follow the signs for Wakayama City. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the city center. Look for signs pointing to Wakayama Castle. There is parking available near the castle, which typically costs around 500 yen for a few hours.
Public Transportation - Train
From Wakasa Station, take the JR Kisei Line towards Wakayama Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Wakayama Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located outside. Look for the bus line that goes to Wakayama Castle (usually Bus No. 20). The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. The bus fare is approximately 230 yen.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to take a direct bus from central Wakasa, you can find local buses heading to Wakayama City. Check the local schedules, as they can vary.
