Car

From Anbo, head north along the coastal road (Route 78). The drive is approximately 30 minutes. Parking is available near the beach. Be aware that roads on Yakushima can be narrow and winding. Rental car agencies are available near Miyanoura Port.
Bus

Take a local bus towards the northern part of the island. Check the Tanegashima-Yakushima Kotsu or Matsubanda Kotsu bus schedule for the most up-to-date information, as services may be limited. Get off at a bus stop near Isso, and walk to 元浦海岸. Bus schedules are available at the Yakushima Tourist Office.
