    From Yakushima Airport, head south on Route 78, following signs for Anbo. After about 30 minutes, turn left onto Route 112 towards Miyanoura. The Sandaisugi Cedar trailhead is located at 9H35+PX, Yakushima, Kagoshima. Parking is available, but can fill up quickly during peak season. Car rentals are available at the airport and Miyanoura Port, with the cheapest 'K' cars starting from around ¥5,000 per day.
