Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, head south on Route 1 from Yakushima Airport or the ferry terminal. Continue along Route 1 for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Koseda area. Look for the signs directing you to Il Mare, which is located at 815-92 Koseda. There is parking available near the restaurant.

Public Transportation

To reach Il Mare by public transportation, take the Yakushima bus from Yakushima Airport or the ferry terminal. Get on the bus heading towards Koseda and ride for about 45 minutes. You will need to get off at the Koseda bus stop. From there, Il Mare is a short 5-minute walk. Head southeast from the bus stop, and follow the signs to 815-92 Koseda.
