Continue on Route 7 for about 30 minutes until you reach the junction with Route 112. Take a right onto Route 112. Follow Route 112 for approximately 10 kilometers until you see signs for Taiko-iwa (Drum Rock). There is a designated parking area near the trailhead. Please note that parking might incur a small fee, typically around 500 yen.

For those using public transportation, take the Yakushima bus from Yakushima Airport or any major bus stop in Yakushima. Look for the bus heading towards Miyanoura or Anbo. You will need to get off at the Taiko-iwa stop. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. From the bus stop, it is a short 15-minute walk to the Taiko-iwa trailhead. Ensure to check the bus schedule beforehand as services may vary, especially on weekends.
