If you are traveling by car, start from Yakushima Airport or any point in Yakushima town. Head south on Route 104 towards Anbo. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards Route 112 towards Kurio. Continue on Route 112 for approximately 20 minutes. Follow the signs for Ohko Waterfall. The final stretch will lead you to a parking area near the waterfall. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Yakushima town (Anbo) to Kurio. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kurio bus stop, you'll need to walk approximately 2 km (about 25-30 minutes) along the road leading to Ohko Waterfall. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
