If you are driving from central Yamanashi (e.g., Kofu), take the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) towards Nagoya. Exit at the Kawaguchiko Interchange (河口湖IC), and follow Route 137 towards Fujiyoshida. Continue on Route 138 for about 10 km until you reach Oshino. Look for signs directing you to Oshino Hakkai. There is parking available near the site, which may incur a small fee (approximately 500 yen).

From Kofu Station, take the JR Chuo Line (中央本線) towards Otsuki. At Otsuki, transfer to the Fujikyu Railway (富士急行) and take the Fujisan Limited Express to Fujiyoshida Station (富士吉田駅).
