Walking
From Yufuin Station, Yufudake Onsen is approximately a 20-30 minute walk. Head north from the station and follow the main road. You'll pass several shops and restaurants along the way. The onsen will be on your right, with clear signage in Japanese and possibly English. Taxis are readily available at Yufuin Station if you prefer not to walk. A short taxi ride will cost approximately ¥700-¥1000.
Public Transport
While there isn't a direct bus route to Yufudake Onsen, you can take a bus from Yufuin Station towards the Yufuin area. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. The fare is around ¥150-¥300. Alight at a stop near the onsen and walk the remaining distance.
Driving
From the Yufuin Interchange, take Prefectural Route 216. Follow the signs towards Yufuin town. After approximately 5 minutes, turn onto Prefectural Route 50. The onsen will be a short distance away on your left. Parking is available at the onsen. Parking fees may apply, typically around ¥300-¥500 per hour.
