Car
From Zao Onsen, head north on Route 13 towards Kaminoyama. After approximately 15 minutes, take a left onto Route 286. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes until you reach Yamanokami Kanakame. Look for signs directing you to Okamiishi, which should be on your right. Parking may be available nearby, but be sure to check local signage for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
From Zao Onsen, you can take a local bus to Kaminoyama Station. The bus typically operates every 30 minutes and takes around 30 minutes to reach the station. Once at Kaminoyama Station, transfer to a local bus heading towards Yamanokami Kanakame. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Disembark at the closest stop to Okamiishi, and follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
