If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Zao Onsen. Head east on Route 13 and follow the signs for Zao. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the Zao mountain area. Public Transportation - Bus
From Zao Onsen, locate the Zao Onsen Bus Stop. Take the Zao Panorama Line bus towards the Zao ski resort. The bus departs frequently, usually every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 20 minutes. A one-way ticket costs around 500 yen. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip.
