From Zao Onsen, drive south on Route 13 for about 10 minutes. Follow the signs for Zao Echo Line, which will lead you onto the road heading towards the Zao mountain area. The road is well-marked, and you will pass through scenic areas. Keep an eye out for the entrance to Zao Echo Line on your right, approximately 5 km from where you joined the road. There may be parking available near the entrance, but it can fill up quickly during peak seasons.
