Getting There

Car
From Ajloun Forest Reserve, take the route towards Ajloun city and then head south on the main highway (Highway 15) towards Madaba. Continue on this route for about 30 km until you reach the junction for Highway 35. Turn right onto Highway 35 and continue for approximately 80 km until you reach the turnoff for Wadi Rum. Follow the signs to Wadi Rum Protected Area, which is about 15 km from the turnoff. Please note that there may be entrance fees for the Wadi Rum Protected Area.

Public Transportation
To travel by public transportation, you will need to take a taxi or local bus from Ajloun to Irbid. From Irbid, find a bus that goes to Aqaba. Once you arrive in Aqaba, you can catch a taxi or a local bus to Wadi Rum. The bus ride from Irbid to Aqaba may take around 2-3 hours, and the taxi from Aqaba to Wadi Rum will take about 1 hour. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.

Taxi
For a more direct option, consider hiring a taxi from Ajloun Forest Reserve to Wadi Rum Protected Area. This will be the most convenient option as the driver will take you directly to the entrance of the protected area. The journey will take approximately 2-2.5 hours, and you should negotiate the fare in advance. Expect to pay around 60-80 Jordanian Dinars depending on the taxi service.
