Car
If you're traveling by car, head to Wadi Musa from Al Karak Plateau. The drive is approximately 1.5 hours (about 100 km). Follow the signs toward Wadi Musa and Petra. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, look for signs directing you to The Treasury, which is located within Petra. Parking is available near the entrance to Petra, but be aware there may be a parking fee (approximately 5-10 JOD). After parking, you will need to purchase a ticket to enter Petra.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a bus from Al Karak to Wadi Musa. Buses leave from the Al Karak bus station regularly, and the journey takes about 2 hours (costing around 3-5 JOD). Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, you can either walk to the Petra entrance (approximately 30 minutes) or take a taxi (costing around 3 JOD) to the entrance. From the entrance, you will need to purchase a ticket to enter Petra, which will allow you to visit The Treasury.
Walking
If you're already in Wadi Musa, you can walk to The Treasury once you've entered Petra. The trail to The Treasury is approximately 1.2 km and is a scenic walk through the Siq, a narrow gorge. The walk can take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Ensure you have comfortable shoes and water, especially during the warmer months.
