Car
From Al-Maghtas, head southeast on the main road toward Wadi Musa. Continue driving for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the sign for Wadi Musa. Turn right onto the road leading into Wadi Musa. After about 5 kilometers, you will arrive in Wadi Musa. Use a GPS or navigation app to find Al-Habis at the coordinates 30.3291106, 35.4387071. Parking may be available nearby, but ensure to check local signs for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
If you're traveling by public transportation, first take a local bus or shared taxi from Al-Maghtas to Wadi Musa. Buses typically run every 30 minutes and the fare is around 1-2 Jordanian Dinars. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, you can either walk to Al-Habis, which is about a 20-minute walk, or hire a local taxi for about 3-5 Jordanian Dinars to take you directly to the site at coordinates 30.3291106, 35.4387071.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Wadi Musa to Al-Habis, start from the town center and head southeast toward the main road. Follow the signs leading to Al-Habis. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take around 20 minutes. Be aware of the local traffic and ensure to stay on designated paths.
