From the Azraq Wetland Reserve visitor center, head southwest on the main road (Route 30) towards Azraq. Continue for approximately 12 km until you reach the intersection with Route 40. Turn left onto Route 40 and follow the signs for Amman. Drive for about 60 km. As you approach Amman, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the Amman Citadel. The Byzantine Church is located near the Citadel area. Ensure to have a map or GPS for accurate navigation.

From Azraq Wetland Reserve, take a public bus or shared taxi to Azraq Town. This will cost around JOD 2-3. Once in Azraq Town, catch a bus or taxi heading to Amman. The fare to Amman is approximately JOD 5-10. Upon arriving in Amman, use local taxis or public transport to reach the Amman Citadel. The Byzantine Church is located nearby the Citadel, so you may need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes from the bus station to get there.
