Car

The main entrance to Wadi Rum Protected Area is well-marked, and there is a visitor center where you will need to pay an entrance fee of around 5 JOD (Jordanian Dinar). After entering, you can park your car at the visitor area.

To reach Wadi Rum by public transportation, first, take a bus from Amman or Aqaba to the town of Rum. Buses leave regularly throughout the day, and the fare is approximately 5-10 JOD. Once you arrive in Rum, you can hire a taxi to take you to the Wadi Rum Protected Area entrance. The taxi ride will cost about 10-15 JOD, and it takes around 15 minutes to reach the entrance.
