Car

The journey is approximately 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach Ajloun, follow the signs to Ajloun Castle, which is located on a hilltop. There is a parking area available near the castle, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

Public Transportation

To reach Ajloun Castle using public transportation, first take a bus or shared taxi from Badia to Irbid. This leg of the journey will typically cost around 1-2 JOD. Once in Irbid, transfer to a minibus heading to Ajloun. The bus ride from Irbid to Ajloun costs approximately 1 JOD and takes about 30-45 minutes. Upon arriving in Ajloun, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to Ajloun Castle, which is located about 5 km from the town center.

Walking

If you're already in Ajloun and prefer to walk, the castle is accessible via a walking path from the town. The walk will take approximately 1 hour. Follow the road leading uphill from the town center, and look for signs directing you towards Ajloun Castle. Be prepared for some steep inclines as you approach the castle.
