If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Balqa Highlands and head towards the Azraq region. Use GPS or a map application and enter the coordinates 31.7448424, 36.7818916. This will lead you directly to the Shaumari Wildlife Reserve. The drive will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to fill up your gas tank before leaving as gas stations can be sparse in the area. Expect to pay for fuel based on the current gas prices in Jordan.

Public Transport
For public transportation, take a bus from the main bus station in Balqa Highlands to Azraq. Once you arrive in Azraq, you will need to take a taxi to the Shaumari Wildlife Reserve, which is about 30 minutes away from the Azraq bus station. Make sure to negotiate the taxi fare in advance, as it may not be metered. Expect to pay around 10-15 JOD for the taxi ride, depending on your negotiation skills.

If you are in a nearby town and cannot access a direct route to the reserve, consider taking a taxi to Azraq and then renting a car if possible. Drive to the coordinates 31.7448424, 36.7818916 to reach the reserve. From the parking area, be prepared to walk a short distance to the visitor center, so wear comfortable shoes. The entrance fee to the reserve may be around 5 JOD, so have cash ready.
