Getting there

Car

From Al-Maghtas, head south on the main road (King Abdullah II Street) for approximately 10 kilometers. Follow the signs for 'Wadi Shuaib' or 'Wadi Shuaib Nature Reserve'. The GPS coordinates for the destination are 31.9075793, 35.639511. Once you arrive at the entrance, there may be a small parking fee (around 1-2 JD) for accessing the area.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a minibus from Al-Maghtas to Madaba. Buses leave frequently and the fare is approximately 0.5 JD. Once you arrive in Madaba, locate another bus or shared taxi heading to Wadi Shuaib. This leg of the journey may cost you about 1 JD. Inform the driver of your destination to ensure you are dropped off at the entrance of Wadi Shuaib.

Taxi

For a more direct option, consider hiring a taxi from Al-Maghtas to Wadi Shuaib. This will cost around 15-20 JD, depending on negotiation. Ensure you agree on the price before starting the journey.
