From the parking area, it is about a 20-minute walk to the Great Temple. Follow the trail leading into the archaeological site, and you will find the Great Temple on your right as you proceed.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take a local bus or shared taxi from Balqa Highlands to Wadi Musa. Buses leave frequently, but it's advisable to check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, you can either walk to the Petra entrance or take a short taxi ride to the entrance of the archaeological site. After entering, it will take approximately 20 minutes on foot to reach the Great Temple. The path is well-marked and easy to navigate.
