It is advisable to hire a guide for the best experience.

For a more adventurous route, from the Dana Nature Reserve, take the marked hiking trail leading towards Petra. This trail offers beautiful views but requires a moderate level of fitness. Follow the trail signs, which will direct you towards Petra. The hike might take several hours depending on your pace, but it will lead you directly to The Treasury area within Petra.
