Car
If you are driving, start by heading north from the Dead Sea area. Take the main road (Route 65) towards Madaba. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the junction for Route 35. Turn left onto Route 35 and continue to Wadi Musa, which is the gateway to Petra and Al-Siq. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, follow the signs to Petra. There is a parking area near the entrance of Petra, where you can leave your vehicle. Please note that there is an entrance fee to Petra, so be prepared to pay around 50 Jordanian Dinars for a day pass.

If you are using public transportation, you can catch a bus from the Dead Sea area to Madaba. The buses frequently depart from various locations around the Dead Sea resorts and are a cost-effective option. Once in Madaba, transfer to a minibus heading to Wadi Musa. The minibus ride should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival in Wadi Musa, follow the signs to the Petra entrance where you will find a parking area. Remember to purchase your entrance ticket to Petra before heading to Al-Siq.
