Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Hamamat Ma'in. Head southeast on the main road towards the Dead Sea. Continue on this road for about 6 kilometers until you reach the junction that leads to Machaerus. Turn right at the junction and follow the road for another 4 kilometers. You will see a sign for مطل حمامات ماعين. Follow that road, and after about 1 kilometer, you'll arrive at the viewpoint, which is located at the coordinates JJ47+MX.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a local minibus from the main bus station in Hamamat Ma'in towards the Dead Sea. Make sure to inform the driver that you are heading to Machaerus, as they will drop you off at the junction. From there, you’ll need to walk approximately 3 kilometers towards مطل حمامات ماعين. It's advisable to carry a map or use a navigation app to ensure you stay on the right path. The walk is along a somewhat busy road, so be cautious.

• Walking

  If you are already in Hamamat Ma'in and prefer to walk, take the main road heading southeast towards the Dead Sea. After about 6 kilometers, you will reach the junction leading to Machaerus. At this point, turn right and continue walking for about 4 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the sign for مطل حمامات ماعين, and continue walking for another kilometer on the road until you reach the viewpoint. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as it can be a long walk.
