Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Jerash Archaeological Site entrance, head towards the main path. Walk straight through the site, taking in the various ruins. Continue past the Temple of Artemis on your left. Keep walking until you reach the Oval Plaza. From the Oval Plaza, exit through the southern path, heading towards the North Gate. Follow the path lined with columns, which will lead you directly to the North Gate, located at 166 Jerash.

    If you are starting from the Jerash city center, head northeast towards the archaeological site. Walk along Al-Hashimi Street until you reach the entrance of the Jerash Archaeological Site. Once inside, follow the same route as described above, passing the Temple of Artemis and continuing towards the Oval Plaza before heading to the North Gate.
