Bus
From the center of Kerak, head to the main bus station located on Al-Mahatta Street. Look for buses heading towards the Dead Sea or Ein Gedi. Purchase a ticket to Ein Gedi. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach the Ein Gedi stop, exit the bus and walk towards the main entrance of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, which is well-signposted.
Taxi
You can hire a taxi from the center of Kerak. Ask the driver to take you to Ein Gedi. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey; it should cost around 40-50 Jordanian Dinars. The ride will take about 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Ein Gedi, the Visitor Center Ahava is located near the entrance of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve.
Walking and Bus Combination
Start at the Kerak Fortress, which is a popular tourist spot. From there, walk to the main bus station on Al-Mahatta Street, about a 15-minute walk. Once at the bus station, find a bus heading to Ein Gedi. After a 1.5 to 2-hour bus ride, get off at the Ein Gedi stop. Walk towards the entrance of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve where the Visitor Center Ahava is situated.
