Car
If you are traveling by car from any point in Ma'an Plateau, first head to the main road leading to Wadi Musa. From Ma'an, you will take the Desert Highway (Route 15) northbound. Follow the signs towards Petra, which will be approximately 2 hours away. Once you reach Wadi Musa, look for signs directing you to Al-Siq, which is located near the entrance of Petra. You can park your car at the designated parking area near the Petra Visitor Center. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of Al-Siq.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Ma'an to Wadi Musa. Buses frequently depart from the Ma'an bus station and the journey to Wadi Musa will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Wadi Musa, you can either walk to the Petra Visitor Center or take a taxi for a small fee (around 2-3 Jordanian Dinars). The entrance to Al-Siq is located at the Petra site, and entry tickets must be purchased at the Visitor Center.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Ma'an Plateau to Wadi Musa. The taxi ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours and should cost around 25 to 30 Jordanian Dinars depending on your starting point. The taxi can drop you off at the Petra Visitor Center, from where you can easily access Al-Siq.
