Public Bus
From Ma'an, head to the main bus station located near the center of the city. Look for buses heading to Wadi Musa, which is the town adjacent to Petra. Buses typically leave every hour, but it's advisable to arrive early to secure a seat. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, the bus will drop you off at the main bus station in the town.

After disembarking at the Wadi Musa bus station, head south on the main road (Wadi Musa Street). Follow the signs leading you toward Petra. The entrance to Petra is approximately 2 kilometers from the bus station. It’s a well-marked path and should take about 30 minutes to walk.
