Getting there

Walking

From the center of Ma'an, head north on Al-Hussein Street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Wadi Musa Road. Turn left onto Wadi Musa Road and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs indicating the direction to Petra. Follow the signs, and after about 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Petra Museum, which is located at 8FG9+46R, Wadi Musa.

Taxi

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from the center of Ma'an. Find a taxi stand or ask your hotel for assistance in hailing a taxi. Once in the taxi, provide the driver with the destination: 'Petra Museum, Wadi Musa'. The drive will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey or ensure that the meter is running.

Bus

You can also take a local bus from Ma'an to Wadi Musa. Head to the bus station located on Al-Hussein Street. Look for buses heading towards Petra or Wadi Musa. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, walk towards the main road and follow the signs to the Petra Museum. It is about a 10-minute walk from the bus drop-off point.
