Walking
From the center of Ma'an, head south on King Abdullah Street. Walk for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the entrance of Petra. At the entrance, you will need to purchase your ticket to enter the archaeological site. Once you enter, follow the main path leading towards The Treasury, which is approximately a 30-minute walk through the stunning Siq, a narrow gorge that leads to the monument.
Bus
From Ma'an, you can take a bus to Petra. Head to the Ma'an bus station located near the city center. Look for a bus heading to Wadi Musa (the town adjacent to Petra). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, you can walk towards the Petra entrance and continue walking through the Siq to reach The Treasury.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from Ma'an directly to Petra. Taxis can usually be found near the main square in Ma'an. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Petra entrance, purchase your ticket to enter and follow the main path to walk through the Siq and reach The Treasury.
