Walking
Begin your journey at the central square of Tafilah, known as 'Al-Mahatta'. From there, head south towards Al-Hussein Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters, passing various shops and cafes. You'll reach the intersection with King Abdullah II Street. Turn right and walk along this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you see the signs pointing towards Wadi Musa. Once you reach the fork, take the left path that leads directly towards Wadi Musa. After another 1.5 kilometers, you should see a small sign indicating 'Lion Fountain' on your left. Follow this path, and you will arrive at the Lion Fountain.

From Tafilah's main bus station, board a bus heading to Wadi Musa. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wadi Musa, disembark at the bus stop near the Petra Visitor Center. From there, walk south along the main road for about 15 minutes. Look for signs for 'Lion Fountain' or ask locals for directions if needed. The fountain is located in a small park area that you will reach after following the road.
