Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mafraq, head west on Al-Hussain Street toward Al-Mawali Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Al-Mafraq Park. Once you arrive at the park, you will see a bus station nearby. Take any local bus heading towards Ajloun. The bus will drop you off at the Ajloun town center. From there, ask locals for directions to Ajloun Castle, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill. Follow the signs that indicate 'قلعة عجلون' (Ajloun Castle) until you reach the entrance.

Start at the main bus station in Mafraq, which is located on Al-Hussain Street. Look for buses heading to Ajloun or the nearby towns. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Ajloun bus station, exit and look for signs or ask a local for directions to the castle, which is about a 20-minute walk from the station. Follow the main road uphill, and you will soon see the castle ahead.
